To Boldly Go...

Space the final frontier.....but not really. Lol. I think there is an unwritten rule book to walking in purpose. Similarly to space there are many uncharted territories, that are awaiting exploration. Although our paths are all different the same boldness is required to navigate this walk successfully.

Why boldness though?! Out of all the characteristics in the world, why is boldness a necessary component to do what God has called you to? I believe the answers we need can always be found in the word of God... and once you know what you're looking for, the words stand out.... well... BOLDLY! lol Case and point... the necessity of boldness isn't just written once or twice in the bible, it is actually highlighted DOZENS of times! Acts 28:31: Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all BOLDNESS and without hindrance. Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are BOLD as a lion. Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with BOLDNESS. Ephesians 6:19 And also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, I think you get my point... God doesn't just suggest that we be bold, He requires it. Now, I could easily quote these scriptures and leave it at that, but I feel compelled to share my own revelation to this. Surprisingly enough it came today, while at a Dare 2 Worship concert in Texas. As I battled through my emotions to get to a place of worship, I was finally broken to a place where I was able to receive, and I heard the spirit say, "BOLDNESS" . I then felt instructed to get up off the floor and worship Him with my head high. Similarly to my personality in public, I'm often drawn to retreat to my place of isolation. But today I felt God instruct me to stand boldly before Him in worship... not to shrink in a corner or hide my head in the ground. I believe I am not the only one who will be led to walk boldly during this season. As the new year starts let's begin to stand on His word and boldly start that business, boldly launch that blog, to boldly preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. It wont be an easy thing all the time but it is necessary to go to your next level.
